DOT to hold tourism jobs fair

In time for graduation, the Department of Tourism will hold a tourism jobs fair on March 28 to 29 at the Cebu International Convention Center (CICC).

“We are staging the 2nd TJF to accommodate both graduates of tourism-related courses and the whole graduate population of March 2007 from any related field, those who are presently employed but are seeking career changes, and those who are presently unemployed or underemployed,” Tourism Secretary Ace Durano said in a press statement.

Durano said they are targeting to gather 200 employers and exhibitors in the two-day jobs fair. Durano said they hope to get 5,000 applicants during the event.
