Handling that job interview

Now that you have been scheduled for that elusive job interview, do your best to prepare for the appointment that will decide whether or not you will get the job.

Penelope Trunk of Yahoo Finance stresses the need to continually practice for that interview. She describes the job interview as a "rehearsed performance," one that you should spend time preparing for. She said most common interview questions are no mystery and if you’ve experienced being interviewed for a job before, chances are some of the questions will be asked again.

Trunk advises job interviewees to practice with a friend. Think about the job and what you can contribute to the company. She suggests that you go to the interview already with a plan for your first months on the job.
