Japanese firm looking for accounting manager

A Japanese multinational company engaged in the manufacture of products used for the following applications--Automotive, Wireless LAN/Bluetooth, Mobile Telecommunication Terminals, Sensors, Digital TV and Digital Still Cameras and Digital Video Cameras-- is in immediate need of a highly competent and results oriented professional to fit the position of:

Accounting Manager

The Position
The candidate will report directly to the General Manager for Finance and Administration and will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Accounting Section. A technically challenging role which included managing, supervising and coordinating all activities related to the development and implementation of accounting principles, systems and procedures.

The Qualifications
The candidate is ideally a Certified Public Accountant, computer literate, familiar with PEZA regulations and has at least five (5) years or relevant managerial work experience in General Accounting from a Japanese manufacturing company. A strong intellect is required with an impressive ability to interpret and analyze accounting data. A proven record in staff management, but more importantly, candidate must demonstrate flexibility, confidence, honesty and a strong sense of urgency and commitment.

She must exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills complemented by the ability to plan strategically about systems requirements.
