Arbitrage (NY) USA ... operates a wide range of affiliate marketing operations worldwide.
The Job
The Server (Hosting) Administrator ... is in charge of acquiring, setting up, maintaining and hardening dedicated and shared servers for Arbitrage. He handles domains registration, appropriation, management and renewal, as a special function, and must ensure that these are properly and securely set up. He ensures highest possible uptime for the servers and issues are promptly resolved. He also collaborates with support teams from around the globe. He must be good in web server and database administration.
The Requirements
To qualify, applicants will need to have the following demonstrable skill sets and pertinent experience:
1. At least three (3) years of Unix or GNU/Linux systems administration
2. Proficient in the setup of services and server software, like SSH, DNS, DHCP, Samba, OpenVPN, Squid, HTTPD, FTP, SSL, MySQL, Postfix/Qmail/IMAP, Firewalls
3. Has good understanding of SQL, TCP/IP properties, internet routing, web hosting and DNS propagation
4. Has good understanding of internet security, server security, risk assessment and mitigation
5. Must be able to read and interpret PHP classes and object codes
